About Us
We're a small little shop located in the beautiful mountains of Kern County, California. Family owned and run. Outdoor life is important to us, but the harsh environment of hot summers and cold winters can take a toll on your skin. We specialize in tallow soap for its rich, creamy lather, and gentle cleansing that is wonderful for skin. Tallow is rich in antioxidants, easily absorbed into skin, rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, and closely resembles human skin cell structure. Tallow makes hard, long-lasting bars of soap. Tallow makes GOOD soap. We make unscented soap for those with scent sensitivities, essential oil soap, and phthalate free fragranced bars. All batches are small batches and handmade.

Natural Additives
We use natural additives such as activated charcoal, coffee grounds, cocoa powder, spirulina, turmeric, clays, chlorella, agave syrup, honey, colloidal oatmeal, herbal teas, botanicals, walnut shell powder, sea salt and more to give our soaps color and special effects. All beeswax and honey are locally sourced. No micas or dyes. If you have any known food allergies, please read ingredients carefully.

Coming Soon!
Did you know soap has a cure time? It takes handcrafted soap about 4-6 weeks to cure; to neutralize the lye, or to complete the saponification process in which the fats, water, and lye turn into soap. The water will evaporate, and the lye is non-existent in the final product. This will give you a nice hard and mild bar of soap. Check back weekly because something is always curing.

Farmers Markets and Local Events
We love to sell soap at local events and farmers markets. Hopefully we'll be joining the Tehachapi Farmers Market this June for our third year and we sell at the Lake Isabella swap meet regularly.
